Campaign seeks to end the cruel use of animal fur – will you be marching?

Get you megaphones at the ready and put on your best walking shoes, because the London March Against Fur is back.

After a successful first event in 2018, Evolve Activism are hosting their second annual march on Saturday 23rd November 2019.

Between 1pm – 5pm, passionate citizens will walk through the streets of central London, making their voices heard for the animals who are abused, tortured and killed for their fur.

The event seeks encourage an end to the cruel fur industry, bringing to light the horrors that furred beings routinely suffer, all for the sake of human fashion.

‘Until Every Sale Has Stopped’

Emma Jade Easton, CEO at Evolve Activism talks about the need for a prohibition: “In 2019, there should already be a worldwide ban on the production and sale of real fur, but unfortunately that is not the case.

Even though we’re seeing fur being banned on the high street and by many high end designers including Prada, Chanel and Gucci, there are still billions of animals like mink, rabbits, foxes, coyotes and raccoons that are needlessly killed for nothing more than unnecessary ‘fashion’ and vanity items.”

Easton continues: “Until we see a global ban, and every store, designer and market stall has stopped selling real fur, we will continue to take a stand against this barbaric industry and march against fur.

“We hope that this will be the biggest year yet and would encourage and welcome everyone to join us!”
